Heal Your Relationships

Mend fences, build bridges, forgive trespasses, grieve losses and let toxic grudges go. Then move on. Get help with this if you need to.

Day 70 of 101 days of blogging.

It?s weekly release time, which is typically always when I highlight relationships ? love, life and all others.

I like to think that I?m a poster child for great relationships. I tend to keep very close those who mean the most to me while eliminating those who bring me down or provide only negative emotions to my life.

But then I re-read that statement, and I realize that perhaps I?m not the poster child. Perhaps I just ?eliminate? vs ?heal? certain relationships. Less relationships do not always signify better relationships. Healed relationships ? forgiving in relationships cultivate better relationships.

Relationships in the weekly release?.

The relationship with working out.

I?m currently in Minnesota, but workouts, even if they do not hold the daily intensity levels like in California, must still happen. Working out is a lifestyle; I don?t take vacation from this relationship. The upper left-hand corner is a 6am drive to the gym with my cousin?and the beloved java. I took some bikini shots this week. I?m still not comfortable putting them up here, so ? sorry. Progress only! A new workout starts a week from tomorrow. I?m letting my body rest and heal up (for the most part) this week.

The relationship with friends and family.

Saturday night we all went out in Northern Minnesota. A night to remember for sure. The end of that story!

The relationship with love.

I got all dressed up for Mike and Tina?s wedding. It feels so bizarre to me to be in a dress and pearls. Ryan looked so handsome. Weddings always remind me of the most amazing day of my life ? when my favorite relationship was blessed ? our marriage.

The relationship with family minis.

I got to hug, hold and love Carlie and Sophie (and many others) these past few days. Those days are few and far between; I cherish each moment.

And again, the relationship with love.

These were our tags from Mike and Tina?s wedding.

I believe that these tags, in all their simplicity laying on the table speak loudly on the relationship Ryan and I have.

Simple. Side-by-side. No flashy features.?

This is a relationship that if ever needed mending, I would mend; if ever needed forgiving, I would forgive; if ever needed grieving, I would grieve. I would never, ever, ever not heal any single part of our relationship.

Some relationships you are just so confident in, and I am confident that those relationships are the only ones we truly need.

p.s. Please make note that there are a few very key?relationships not described here today, as I didn?t have pictures of them from this past week. I love this topic of ?relationships? so much that I think it needs more posts :)
